Clinical Guidelines

Maintaining the highest health status possible for our Members is the goal of Affinity Health Plan. This can be achieved through collaboration between you, our clinicians, and Affinity. Furthermore, a variety of local, state and even national agencies are monitoring our statistics to determine if we are affording our Members care that is effective and state of the art.

The Affinity Health Plan Clinical Guidelines are created to assist you in making appropriate clinical decisions for your patients. These statements and protocols represent a compilation of what is considered standard of care. The Guidelines are peer reviewed and agreed to by the Affinity Clinical Affairs Committee. You will notice that references are annotated. When strong evidence exists that a particular clinical practice will result in positive outcomes, Affinity Health Plan will promulgate that information and monitor the results of applying this evidence in our patient population.

Please contact me at 718-794-5571 if you have questions. Thank you for caring for our Members.

Sincerely,

Susan Beane, MD
Medical Director
